As you can see, this is among the rarer FTO's in Australia. It's hard to find a turbo FTO anywhere in the world, let alone over here in OZ. It's a beautiful car and a real head turner, and I am sad to see it go, but the time has come to pass the torch to the next enthusiast..
***As you may tell by my photos, I am not much of a photographer ^_^
The photos just don't do it any justice at all! On request, I am more than happy to take more photos and send them to interested buyers.***
As it is, the car is not legally drive-able, as it is out of rego and will be needing a full inspection before getting it back on the road. There is a few minor issues with the car, here is the list:
Car has a hard time finding reverse, it's not a big deal, just a small clip around the tranny that has broken and needs repair, I had it working fine with a hose clamp for a while though that was only to move it from point A to point B, and so the clip will need to be repaired/replaced. I received a quote from my mechanic for around $50 to get it fixed.
Turbo timer is included in the alarm unit, though we haven't managed to get it to work yet. I have a small, cheap turbo timer which I will throw in with the car which you can install if you can't get it working.
Front bar is very loose and needs re-fastening
Rims and side skirts have some gutter rash, and there is a small dent in the roof and in the hood, all of which are quite easily fixable.
Some small cracks in the centre console plastic
A small tear in the drivers seat
Some scrapes on the hood which will need some filler and a respray
A few small cracks in the front bar (which can be easily repaired)
There is a slight noise in the front end whilst driving, which has only happened since the car has been sitting. My guess is some surface rust between moving parts, though my advice would be to have it checked out. It may be a wheel bearing, it may be something else, but I doubt it would be anything overly expensive to fix.
The car has 180000 (roughly) kms on the clock, though the engine was fully rebuilt less than 5,000kms ago. I barely wore the engine in after having the engine/turbo work done to it. All belts are new, as well as a new pulley tensioner and new wiring harness. Brand new lifters were installed with the rest of the work also. The car has also been professionally dynotuned since the work, I can't quite remember the figures though I am happy to do some digging to find out for any interested buyers. All the work was done professionally by Total Mechanical in Lismore. Here is their contact number if you want to verify the work done: (02) 6622 2019
